Tim Murphy is the founder of Elite Racing, the Rock ‘n’ Roll and Country Music Marathons and Half-Marathons in San Diego, Phoenix, Virginia Beach and Nashville and the world renowned Carlsbad 5000. He brought music, running and investors together to create high profile events which provided significant economic impact to cities, millions of dollars to charities and opened the door for millions to enjoy the sport.
